Move-In Checklist (Condo / Apartment)
Do this once on day 1. It prevents most arguments later.

Before you arrive
- Confirm move-in rules: lift booking, deposit, time slot, and security registration.
- Ask what you should collect: keys, mailbox key, access cards, parking tag, visitor QR/app setup.
- Bring: phone charger, a pen, duct tape, a small screwdriver, and a few trash bags.
Inside the unit (10 minutes)
Take photos/video of every room (wide + close-ups).
Check water pressure + hot water in all bathrooms.
Check aircon works and note any leaks / smell.
Check windows/doors lock properly.
Check fridge + stove + washer (if provided).
Check for pests and obvious water stains.
Access + parking (10 minutes)
- Confirm how many access cards are provided and replacement fees.
- Confirm your parking bay number and how access works (tag/card/plate).
- Ask visitor parking rules and typical availability.
Utilities + internet (5 minutes)
- Clarify who pays: water, electricity, internet (and whether bills are under owner or tenant).
- If prepaid meter: confirm top-up method.
- Check ISP options and mobile signal inside the unit.
