If we introduce optional paid features (for example, listing visibility upgrades), they will not change this privacy commitment.

When you click "Contact via WhatsApp," we facilitate the connection but do not store or access your WhatsApp conversations. The only data shared is your phone number to initiate contact.
To help Malaysian neighbors find housing, parking, and local services within their communities. This aligns with PDPA's legitimate interest provision for community benefit.

When you post a listing, your contact information becomes visible to other community members so they can reach you directly. This is essential for the neighbor- connections that JiranLink facilitates.

In compliance with PDPA 2025 guidelines, if a data breach affects more than 1,000 individuals or causes significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner within 72 hours and affected users within 7 days.

Personal data in active listings is retained as long as the listing remains active and useful to the community. Users can delete their listings at any time.
Listings inactive for more than 12 months may be archived or deleted. We will attempt to contact users before deletion.
Google Analytics data is automatically deleted after 26 months according to our configured retention settings.
