Age Requirements

  • • You must be at least 18 years old to use JiranLink
  • • If representing a family, you must be legally authorized
  • • Parental consent required for family unit listings
  • • Legal capacity to enter into agreements

2. Platform Nature / Sifat Platform

Community-First Marketplace

JiranLink helps Malaysian neighbors connect directly for housing, parking, and local services. The core platform is free to use, and we never sell personal data.

  • • Optional paid visibility features may be introduced later (clearly labeled)
  • • No platform commission on transactions
  • • No sale of personal data

Platform Disclaimer

JiranLink is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We make no representations about:

  • • Success of transactions or interactions
  • • Continuous operation of services

Volunteer Protection

Our volunteers maintain this platform in good faith but are not liable for:

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:

In the spirit of gotong-royong, we encourage neighbors to resolve disputes amicably through respectful dialogue and mutual understanding before pursuing formal legal action.

Contact the other party directly through WhatsApp or phone to discuss the issue calmly and seek a mutually acceptable solution.

If direct communication fails, involve building management or community leaders who can facilitate neutral mediation.

Formal Resolution

As a last resort, pursue legal action through Malaysian courts or relevant authorities such as Tribunal for Consumer Claims.

10. Prohibited Activities / Aktiviti Yang Dilarang

The following activities will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to Malaysian authorities.

13. Platform Changes / Perubahan Platform

As a volunteer-driven community project, JiranLink may evolve based on community needs, volunteer availability, and technological improvements.

Service Modifications

We may need to:

  • • Update security measures and technical infrastructure
  • • Modify user interface for better accessibility
  • • Integrate new tools for community benefit
  • • Adjust policies for legal compliance

Terms Updates

Changes to these Terms will include:

  • • Right to discontinue use if you disagree

⚠️ Service Continuity

Important: As a volunteer community project, we cannot guarantee continuous service availability:

  • • Platform may experience downtime for maintenance or improvements
  • • Features may be temporarily unavailable during updates
  • • In extreme cases, the project may need to be discontinued
  • • We'll provide as much notice as possible for major changes
  • • Community data will be preserved or transferred where feasible

14. Final Agreement / Perjanjian Akhir

By using JiranLink, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You understand JiranLink has inherent limitations and you are responsible for your own transactions.

Complete Agreement

  • • These Terms constitute the complete agreement between users and JiranLink
  • • Supersedes all prior agreements or understandings
  • • Must be read together with Privacy Policy
  • • Governed by Malaysian law exclusively

Severability

  • • If any provision is found invalid, others remain in effect
  • • Invalid clauses will be replaced with similar valid provisions
  • • Overall Terms remain binding and enforceable
  • • Malaysian courts will interpret ambiguous clauses
