Area guide

Old Klang Road

Old Klang Road (OKR) is a mature residential corridor connecting KL to Petaling Jaya via the Federal Highway and NPE. Freehold developments are available here at lower psf than inner KL equivalents — South Bank Residence and OUG Parklane are the most-searched buildings in our archive. The key trade-off: no walkable LRT. Kerinchi and Kuchai LRT stations require a feeder bus or Grab for most buildings. Flash flooding affects low-lying road sections during heavy monsoon rain (Oct–Jan), though elevated buildings are not directly at risk.

M Aurora serviced residence entrance and podium, official developer render by Mah Sing Group

M Aurora

M Aurora is an under-construction freehold serviced residence by Mah Sing Group on a 5.24-acre site along Jalan Klang Lama (Old Klang Road), Kuala Lumpur, with a provisional GreenRE Silver certification. It comprises 1,544 units across two 46-storey towers, built-up from 556 to 1,019 sq ft across five layouts (Type A to E, 1 to 4 bedrooms), priced from RM339,000. Vacant possession is targeted for September 2030; as of the 2026 launch phase the site is at early construction / sales-gallery stage rather than physically topped out. Rail access today is genuinely limited to two KTM Komuter stations on the Port Klang Line — Jalan Templer (~500m) and Petaling (~600m) — both a short, walkable distance. There is no MRT anywhere near the site yet: the marketed 'MRT3' Jalan Klang Lama station on the future Circle Line, cited at roughly 2.5km away, is not operational and is only expected around 2032, so it should not be read as current transit access. As an unfinished project, maintenance fee, flood history and an upper price bound are not yet established and are intentionally left out rather than estimated.

OUG Parklane serviced apartments, Overseas Union Garden KL

OUG Parklane

OUG Parklane is a leasehold serviced apartment development in Overseas Union Garden (OUG), a mature residential township on Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. OUG is one of the most established Chinese-majority residential areas in KL — dense with kopitiam, wet market, Chinese restaurants, sundry shops, and a strong community character. Maintenance fee approximately RM0.25–0.30 psf. No walkable rail station — Kuchai MRT (Putrajaya Line) is 1.5km away; most residents drive or e-hail. Mid Valley Megamall is approximately 5km. Median transaction price approximately RM574 psf (87 JPPH transactions on record). Trade-off: neighbourhood character and affordability over transit convenience.
